What kind of food is offered on your menu?
On the Sternwheeler Rose, we take great pride in the food we
serve. Our food is prepared and served by our catering service, Catering At Its

Do you offer a vegetarian option?
Our delicious meals already offer a variety of fruits and vegetables and with advanced notice we can
accommodate a vegetarian option.

Can we bring kids?
Children are welcome on all cruises provided they are accompanied by adults.

Do you have gift certificates?
YES, and a Sternwheeler Rose gift certificate makes a
great gift, and they are valid for one year!! Certificate
purchases may be made by phone with a major credit card. Checks may be
mailed to our office at P.O Box 398 Gladstone, OR 97027.

Can we bring our own food onboard?
Passengers on board our Public Cruises may not bring any food or beverages on board the Sternwheeler Rose,
although Private Charters do have that option.

There are various entertainment options available upon request.

How do I make a reservation?
Call our office at (503) 388-0343 (ROSE). Reservations for public
events must be pre-paid and are nonrefundable. Reservations may be made by phone with a major credit card.

What is your cancellation policy?
Once a reservation is made, it may not be refunded or transferred to another cruise date.
It is acceptable to have another person(s) use your paid reservation if you are unable to attend.

Where does the boat board?
The Sternwheeler Rose boards at the Jon Storm dock in
Oregon City.
Cruises typically board 15 minutes prior to departure. Please go to the 'Maps' page of our website

Where do you cruise?
The Sternwheeler Rose typically cruises south to the
Locks and Willameete Falls and to the intersection where the Clackamas
River meets the Willamette
River.

Do you cruise in the winter or in the rain?
We cruise year-around in every kind of weather. The Sternwheeler Rose
offers enclosed dining areas.

Are you wheelchair accessible?
The Sternwheeler Rose was built prior to ADA requirements.
The main deck is wheelchair accessible, however, the restrooms are not.

Will I have a window seat?
All tables are window seats and you are encouraged to move throughout the vessel during the cruise.

Can we sit at our own table?
On occasion there is shared seating.

What does the interior of the vessel look like?
Every effort has been made to capture the nostalgic turn of the century look.

Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is permitted on the outer decks of the vessel only.

What is the capacity of the boat?
The USCG has placed a 120-passenger limit on the vessel, however, for the comfort and enjoyment
of our guests we limit the capacity to 100.

What is the dress code/appropriate attire?
Attire is casual but wear what is appropriate to the occasion. We strongly recommend that people
do not wear high-heeled shoes and encourage people to wear solid, non-slip footwear as we are in a
marine environment. We also recommend wearing layered clothing, as the climate on the river can be unpredictable.
